DVR

Man if I didn't have a DVR I think I would be more productive and less sedentary in general. Imagine this: I get done with work, want to find something to watch on TV so I can just space out for a bit. There is nothing on so I turn to the ol' DVR. Always something on there that I want to watch [The Hills, The Office, Chuck, Build it Bigger, etc.], so I watch it. BAM. I sit there for anywhere from 30 minutes [24 minutes skimming the commercials] to 2 hours. For. No. Reason. To. Learn. Nothing.
If I didn't have anything to watch, I might have gone and ridden my bike. Or walked around my apartment area [it's got shops and stuff, don't worry]. Shoot I dunno, maybe have gone to a pawn shop. There's always cool stuff there.
Regardless. I waste so much time staring at the piece of crap in my living room. I think I am going to get rid of the DVR and all that. That means I save a little money, save a little sanity, and more importantly get to talk to you more. Think about it.
...I still need to get back to that book Into The Wild...
